Energy supply systems

Energy supply has changed dramatically over the last 100 years becoming increasingly sustainable and efficient. The energy supply of the future must face various technological, ecological and social issues and challenges. Beside economical and CO2 emission questions, also the entire value chain as well as customer acceptance are of great importance to ensure the success of the energy transition. Due to various options for generating and using electricity and heat, it is therefore becoming increasingly important to take the respective local conditions into account and develop the specific solution in each case.
