Anti-disaster training

The risks associated with handling natural gas are often underestimated. Damage analyses show that improper work or human error in hazardous situations near gas pipelines often leads to considerable damage. Uncontrolled gas leaks therefore pose a considerable risk of fire and explosion. In addition to the many years of experience of experts in the field, the Training Centre Gas enables participants to train in realistic scenarios under controlled conditions in order to prevent a wide range of risks.

The training provides participants with theoretical knowledge and shows them measures to avoid dangerous situations in the gas compartment. By learning the rules of behaviour for initial safety, the participants acquire the basics for greater safety when carrying out such work. In practical exercises, the participants practise the correct behaviour in an emergency in realistic scenarios. The excavator damage demonstration facility (BSDA) enables practical simulations of gas accidents and is supervised by our expert staff.
